Help with Acne
Nature has potent remedies for every disease but it is up to us to find a remedy that suits us. A good diagnosis of the disease is half its treatment. Acne can be divided in three stages; mild, moderate and severe. The methods of treatment of all three stages are different. Keep a permanent check on your acne problem and if you feel that it is getting worse, consult a dermatologist and let him examine your skin and prescribe a suitable treatment for you.
Treatment of mild acne
If you have mild acne then deal with it by gently washing the skin two times daily with warm water and a good soap. In addition to cleansing, a cream or a product having benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid should be applied. The skin should be properly looked after. The improvements take their natural course and healing does not start immediately, especially with topical solutions. Vitamins also help to improve the skin.
Treatment of moderate acne
When half of the face is covered with either black heads or white heads and comedones we say that acne is in moderate stage. If you are at this stage, consult a doctor to control the disease as acne can be treated effectively. A combination of therapies is applied to treat moderate acne. Oral acne treatments or oral contraceptives are its well known remedies.
Treatment of sever stage of acne
In this stage, pimples become deep, inflamed and cyst type. Consult your dermatologist who will use a very effective treatment to prevent the progress of acne. Oral antibiotics and medicines such as accutane may be used at this stage accompanied by drainage techniques and surgical procedures. It is important to know that signs of improvement can be seen between six to eight weeks of treatment.
